March is shaping up marvelously here at SCJH and we have plenty to fill your calendar!

Mr. Nolan needs a haircut, and we’re going to give it to him! SCJH is partnering with Vero Beach Hardware to join the fight against childhood cancer and we need your help!  For the next two weeks, we are asking parents and students to send in donations to help us reach our goal of $500. The shaving will commence at our St.Baldrick’s assembly on Friday, March 17th at 2:00 p.m.

Of course, Mr. Nolan would LOVE some company.  We are looking for brave volunteers (parents and students alike) to be “shavees” and have the talented stylists from Studio 55:22 free you from your locks at the assembly.  If you are interested, have more questions, or would like to make a donation, please contact Mrs. Tillis at (772) 388-8838 or at

Together, we can make a difference in the fight against childhood cancer!

This Friday, March 10th,.  we will be screening the ever popular “Despicable Me” on the SCJH fairway beginning at 5:30 p.m. The PTSO will be selling pizza dinners and offering a special Family Pizza deal that includes a large pizza and four drinks for only $10!  Have a smaller appetite? They have Individual Meal Deals that include two slices of pizza and a drink for only $3.  Hot cocoa with marshmallows, coffee and popcorn will also be available. Come early and secure a good spot because the movie will begin at 6:00 p.m.

So bring your blankets and lawn chairs and enjoy the last Screen On The Green for this school year!

This Saturday, March 11th the SCJH 8th Grade class is holding a car wash at Advanced Auto Parts located at 9240 Sebastian Blvd in Sebastian.  Come on down anytime between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., and your donation of $5 (or more) will go to benefit the 8th grade end of year activities.

Wednesday, March 15th is an early release day.  Students will be dismissed at 12:45 p.m.  Students can Dress Down on that day with a donation of 50 cents (or more) that will go towards our Well Project. There will be NO afterschool activities that day.

Thursday, March 16th, Lifetouch will be on campus to take Spring Photos.  An order form was sent out in the last Eagle Folder, however additional copies are available at the front office.  These are individual photos and students are able to dress down for them.

We have several volunteer opportunities this month. From Screen on the Green to Picture Day, there are no shortage of events that would not be possible without the help and support of our parents.  Simply log in to your account on Track It Forward to see what volunteer opportunities await.
