The holidays are fast approaching and SCJH has no shortage of events to fill your calendar!

NOVEMBER PTSO MEETING

This month’s PTSO meeting will be held Thursday, Nov. 17th beginning at 6:00 p.m.

PROGRESS REPORTS

Progress reports for the second nine weeks will be going home in student’s Eagle Folders this Friday, Nov. 18th.

COMMUNITY YARD SALE & B-B-Q

The SCJH PTSO is holding its first ever Community Yard Sale and B-B-Q on Saturday, Nov. 19th from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.  Come on out and see what treasures await.  After you’ve finished shopping, head on over to the grill and enjoy tasty B-B-Q treats including hotdogs and hamburgers.

Need extra holiday cash?

PTSO still has a few vendor spots available for as little as $15. Offload all the clutter taking up space in your closets and garage! Contact the front office A.S.A.P. at (772) 388-8838 if you would like to reserve a spot.

EMERGENCY MAKE UP DAYS DUE TO HURRICANE MATTHEW

The School District of Indian River County has issued a press release that students WILL NOT have to make up the days missed during Hurricane Matthew.  This means that Thanksgiving Break will be Wednesday, November 23rd – Friday, November 25th.

SPIRIT NIGHT

Our Spirit Night for November is being held at Wendy’s Restaurant, 1625 U.S. Highway 1 in Sebastian on Tuesday, November 29th.  From 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., families can stop by the Wendy’s Restaurant dining room OR through the drive-thru and Wendy’s will donate a very generous 25% back to SCJH.  Students who attend will also receive a dress down pass.

 Hope to see you there!

NJHS FOOD DRIVE FOR FAMILIES

It’s not too late to contribute to our canned food drive.  Homeroom classes will be collecting through Nov. 18th.  All non-perishable items are happily accepted.  We will have prizes for the flock with the most items donated and for the student with the most items donated.  Together, we can make a difference for many this holiday season.
